How this all started:

2 Years ago when Shawn was still doing the team mom thing for Pop-Warner Football we got tired of eating out all the time at 8pm at night. So I tried my hand at cooking, turns out I really enjoy it. Being the nerd that I am, I went out and did some research and found Big Oven. This was a great find, it has over 100,000 recipes. I have been cooking ever since and loving it. Food Network has some great recipes also and not to mention some great shows where I have learned a ton.

Currently I am using the Stainless All-Clad cookware and I love them. Not cheap but well worth it.

One of my most favorite items is my Wok that Shawn got me for Christmas 07′. Use it all the time and would recommend this Wok to you all. It is Cast Iron and from China.It has to be seasoned and kept oiled, but well worth the effort. Since it is a traditional wok it has a round bottom and requires a Wok Ring, which sits over your gas burner and hold the wok. Works like a champ and you can taste the difference in the food.
